Position: Wagon Repair Technician (Railway Maintenance and Repair)
We are seeking skilled and hardworking individuals aged 18 to 45 to join a wagon repair team in Slovakia. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing railway wagons to ensure they meet operational and safety standards.
Salary:
- 1,100–1,400 EUR/month (net), with additional pay for overtime and bonuses for exceptional performance.
Working Hours:
- Full-time, 8-hour shifts.
- Rotational shifts may include weekends, depending on workload.
- Breaks include 20 minutes for lunch and two 10-minute pauses.
Vacation:
- 20 paid vacation days annually.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical and structural issues in railway wagons.
- Repair or replace damaged components such as brakes, wheels, and couplings.
- Perform welding, painting, and other technical maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during all repairs.
- Document work completed and report any unresolved issues to the supervisor.
Working Conditions:
- Work both indoors (repair workshops) and outdoors (rail yards).
- Physical labor involving tools and heavy equipment.
- Safety gear and uniforms provided by the employer.
Requirements:
- Age: 18–45.
- Previous experience in mechanical repair or a similar field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic knowledge of tools, machinery, and welding techniques.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic English or Slovak language skills (preferred).
